Baby belly!

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Today I had the pleasure of meeting J.  She’s 33 weeks pregnant with a baby girl, who I can’t wait to meet!  She had a beautiful henna tattoo done at her baby shower yesterday, so I got to photograph that today – a first for me!  J was so beautiful and truly glowing.  I wish I looked half this good when I was pregnant.

J, it was so nice meeting you today, and I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of your baby girl.  Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Just after Christmas, I ordered studio lighting equipment.  I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, and I’m excited to be able to be a little less weather dependent in my photography.  Ever since the stuff arrived, my children have been my guinea pigs as I figured out just how to use the stuff.  One time, I bribed them with lollipops.  Now, at least once a day, Daniel asks, “take peechurs me?” probably because he wants another lollipop.  But it does give me the chance to get some nice pictures of my baby boy.

I love this.  It’s just so Daniel.

Love this face, peanut butter and all:

And then there’s our interpretation of American Gothic, with Cheez-its:

Really, I don’t torture them, I swear.
