Old Town

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Sunday I braved the heat and went down to Old Town Alexandria for a couple of sessions.  And boy, it was HOT!  I can handle 90s in July, but in April, it’s a little much.

Alex and Zack didn’t seem to mind too much:

In the afternoon, I got to meet up with some friends of ours, and meet their baby for the first time.  It was approaching naptime, and she was a little subdued, though still adorable:

Twins!

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

I have to say, I love pictures of newborn twins.  I’ve always wanted to have a chance to photograph them, and today, I got to!  Meet miss Caroline and Rebecca:

And here’s big sister Abby, who may well be a photographer some day – she spent most of the afternoon taking pictures of the twins with mom’s camera – and actually did a pretty good job!

Portrait Party

Yesterday was a portrait party.  Lots of fun, and really cute kids!  But, oh, so exhausting for the photographer!  Here’s a sneak peek of the kiddos:

The Big Thaw

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

After a long, cold, and boring winter (seems no one wants to go outside and get their portraits done in 30 degree weather!), things are finally getting interesting around here again.  Today was BUSY.  A family session this morning and a portrait party in the afternoon.  I know someone who will be sleeping soundly tonight!  (Me.)  I have a mountain of proofing to do now.

But, here’s a little sneak peek of Griffin, the adorable little man I got to meet this morning.
