Just a quick post to wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day!
Despite the weather of late, I’m hopeful that spring is around the corner. Now’s the time to book sessions for spring! Also, I have limited availability for portrait parties. This is a fabulous way to visit with friends and earn free portraits at the same time. Contact me for more information. Indoor and outdoor parties available.
It’s been a crazy summer for me. Slow for photography, but very busy otherwise! We sold our townhouse, bought a new house, packed, and moved! The unpacking still isn’t finished. We’re currently going with the “cardboard box” decor. My oldest starts kindergarten on Monday, and my youngest starts nursery school Sept 15. All sorts of changes going on here!
But… Fall is just around the corner, and the holidays not long after that. Now’s the perfect time to schedule your holiday session! I’ve got some fabulous holiday card choices for my clients this season – I know you’ll love them!
So, check your calendars and contact me soon so we can schedule your session. Available dates are starting to fill up already! There’s no session fee with a signed model release, so take advantage while you can!
A snapshot really…
Today, our house went on the market. No worries – we’re not moving far; it’s just time to upgrade to a larger house, with a backyard for the boys to play in. Or that’s the idea anyway.
As a result of this, my computer time is greatly reduced. Recent and future sessions can expect up to a 3 week wait for proofs, instead of the usual 2. Print delivery times shouldn’t be affected much.
Wish us luck in selling our house, and hopefully we’ll get through this quickly (and with my sanity intact, though I’m not sure that’s possible with 2 small children!). If you know anyone who’s looking to buy a really nice townhouse in Howard County, send them my way!
